Free version
The free version provides unlimited local lists and items, standard sorting and sharing features, and up to five active recipes. It can be used without an account. Features may improve or change over time, but the goal is for the free version to remain a useful, independent grocery list.
Smarter Grocery List Plus
Plus provides household sync, unlimited recipes, a shared weekly plan and store order, Checkout Ready and Ask Home. One paying owner can invite up to five other people. Invited members do not need a separate subscription while the owner's access is active.
Price, trial and renewal
The current price, billing period and any trial are shown in the app before you approve the purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. The subscription automatically renews for the same period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple may charge for renewal within 24 hours before expiry.
You can manage or cancel the subscription in iPhone Settings or under subscriptions in your Apple Account. Deleting the Smarter Grocery List sync account does not cancel the subscription.
When Plus ends
Sync and Plus features are locked when paid access expires. Local lists and items remain. Every saved recipe remains visible, but only the first five can be used and edited for free. Locked recipes become available again if Plus is reactivated.
Purchases, refunds and cancellation rights
Apple handles payments, receipts and refund requests under App Store rules and applicable consumer law. See Apple's billing and subscription support.
Use of the service
You are responsible for content you enter and for the people you invite. Do not use the service for unlawful content, abuse of others, attempts to bypass access controls, or loads that damage the service. Access may be limited in cases of documented abuse or security risk.
Availability and liability
Local features are designed to work offline. Sync, push notifications, recipe import and purchase verification depend on networks and external services and may be temporarily unavailable. Smarter Grocery List should not be your only storage location for critical information. These terms do not limit statutory consumer rights.
Privacy and deletion
See the privacy policy for details of the data processed. Server data can be deleted under Settings → Sync Data & Account. Support is available on the support page.
Apple's standard terms
Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If terms conflict, mandatory law and Apple's requirements for App Store distribution prevail.
Changes
These terms may be updated when the product or legal requirements change. Material changes will be communicated in a reasonable way before taking effect. The date above shows the latest update.
